POLONIA: 11th Century Coins Dug Out in Central Poland.

A pot containing 120 silver coins has been dug out on a construction site in central Poland.

The coins are still being examined by experts of the Archeological Museum in the city of Łodz, yet they date most probably back to the 11th century.

This rare discovery is impressive in size and extremely well preserved. Archeologists are not excluding the likelihood of finding more treasures at the same spot.
